Ruth Anna Rawls, 82, of Ahoskie died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include three sons, Corbett Rawls of Raleigh, Horace Rawls of Norfolk, Va. and Lloyd Rawls of Ahoskie; two brothers, Clarence Beasley and Charlie Beasley, both of Ahoskie; a sister, Lois Keemer of Ahoskie; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30 at New Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. William C. Clark officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29 at Hertford County Undertakers, Winton.
