Patricia Sawyer McPherson, 71, of Brinkley Road, Corapeake, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Norfolk, Va., she was retired as a bookkeeper from Crossroads Fuel Service in Sunbury.
Survivors include a daughter, Sally M. Griffin of Corapeake; two sons, James A. McPherson of Pelham, Mass. and Robert A. McPherson of Corapeake; five sisters, Elizabeth Burton of Virginia Beach, Va., Eula Hendrix of Anniston, Ala., Mildred Banks of Virginia Beach, Va., Jean Stapleford of Norfolk, Va. and Hester Lawson of Chesapeake, Va.; one brother, Irvin Sawyer of Virginia Beach, Va.; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, with the Rev. Mickey Willard officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home following the services.
