Polly Mae Riddick, 69, of Gates died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Christopher Butler of Windsor; three brothers, Emerick Taylor and Herbert Taylor, both of Gates, and Walter Taylor of Portsmouth, Va.; four sisters, Dorothy Savage, Elnora Riddick and Gloria Myrick, all of Gates, and Shirley Bond of Gates; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21 at Union Branch Baptist Church in Gates with Rev. Nathaniel Thomas officiating. Burial will take place in the Taylor & Savage Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Hertford County Undertakers Gates Chapel in Sunbury.
