Michael Boone, 45, of Rich Square died Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Halifax Regional Medical Hospital in Roanoke Rapids.
Born in Northampton County, he was last employed at Perdue Farms in Lewiston and a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Rich Square.
Survivors include a wife, Peggy Boone of the home; a daughter, Quaeshia Taylor of New Jersey; a step-daughter, Talexis Watford of the home; his mother, Elaine Boone of Rich Square; three sisters, Patricia Boone and Camellia Boone, both of Rich Square, and Evelyn Rodgers of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Bennie Boone and Raymond Boone, both of Rich Square; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15 at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square, with the Rev. Tony Flood officiating. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Rich Square.
