James Edward Harrell, 49, of Colerain died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va.
Survivors include a brother, Elliot Harrell of Merdian, Conn.; four sisters, Shirley H. Tann of Colerain, Evelyn Harrell of Lewiston, Mary Harrell, Merdian, Conn. and Mamie Ann Harrell of Powellsville.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10 at New Holley Grove Baptist Church in Colerain with Rev. Alton Bazemore officiating. Burial will take place at the Harrell Family Cemetery, Colerain.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
