Cyrus Blowe, 73, of Murfreesboro died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
He was a native of Northampton County.
Survivors include his wife, Queen S. Blowe; children, Cynthia Blowe and Wanda Huntley, both of Greensboro, Charmaine Lassiter of Murfreesboro, Quincy Glover of Charlottesville, VA, Regina Stephenson of Hyattsville, MD and Charlotte Everteze of Atlanta, GA; four brothers, James Blowe of Murfreesboro, MacAuthur Blowe of Baltimore, MD, Lincoln Blowe of Philadelphia, PA and Leroy Blowe of New Jersey; a sister, Louise Taylor of Hampton, VA; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 2 at First Baptist Murfreesboro with the Rev. Robert Richardson and the Rev. Regina Stephenson officiating. Burial was in Carver Park Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, handled the arrangements.
