Terrill Surgeon

Terrill Gene Surgeon, 51, of Bessie Lane, Windsor, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Bertie Memorial Hospital.
Born in Bertie County, he was a former electrician with Perdue in Lewiston and a member of Ross Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Jernigan Surgeon of the home; a son, Terrill McCoy Surgeon of Colerain; a daughter, Mary Hope Surgeon of Williamston; three brothers, Lewis Bernard Surgeon, Jr. and Randy Surgeon, both of Windsor, and Robert Surgeon of Tennessee; two sisters, Mary Kay Hoggard of Colerain and Judy Mills of Wilson; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 3 at Ross Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Mickey and Brian Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2 at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times from the home.
