Pattie Cooke Hurdle, 86, of Millennium Road, Aulander, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Guardian Care of Ahoskie.
Born in Hertford County, she was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her step-son, Alfred E. Hurdle of Aulander; a sister, Sarah Allen of Emporia, Va.; five step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2009, in the Ashley Memorial Chapel of Garrett-Jones Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Skeens and the Rev. Greg Hurdle officiating. Burial will follow in Aulander Cemetery.
Garrett’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
