Peggy Allen Ward, 75, of Gates Bank Road, Gates, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Down East Health & Rehab, Gatesville.
Born in Wake County, she was a homemaker and a member of Savage’s United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Ward of Gates and Yvonne Carter of Murfreesboro; a sister, Shirley Bruce of Eure; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, with the Rev. Tracy Clayton officiating. A private burial will take place in the Reynoldson Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
