Marvin Earl Taylor, 58, East Jefferson Street, Jackson, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was a retired I.R.S. Revenue Officer and owner and operator of Taylor’s Tax Solutions in Roanoke Rapids, Lewiston and Jackson. He was a member of Boone’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Lenora Dickens Taylor of Philadelphia, Pa.; three daughters, Jacqueline Taylor of Philadelphia, Pa., Rosolyn Taylor of Woodbury, NJ and Angela Taylor of Baltimore, Md.; a son, Peddie Taylor of Maginola, NJ and 12 grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Boone’s Chapel Baptist Church, Jackson with the Rev. Carroll Dickens officiating. Burial will take place at Crestview Memorial Gardens, Roanoke Rapids.
A wake will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18 at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel in Rich Square.
