Burges Uruquhart III

Burges Urquhart, III, of Main Street, Lewiston-Woodville died Friday, November 27, 2009.
A native of Bertie County, he was a retired farmer and a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cora Blount U. Early and Pattie Clark Urquhart, both of Lewiston-Woodville; three sons, Burges Urquhart, IV and Whitmel Hill Urquhart, both of Lewiston-Woodville, and Lewis Thompson Urquhart of Bethel; a sister, Emily U. Ayscue of Charlotte; a brother, Thomas Mizell Urquhart of Ahoskie; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, Nov. 29 at Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph Cooper. The family will be at Mr. Urquhart’s home, 201 Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, PO Box 537, Lewiston-Woodville, NC 27849.
