Willie W. Sutton, 71, of Sunbury died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.
He was a native of Gates.
Survivors include four sons, Karl E. Sutton, Andra Sutton and Thomas Sutton, all of New York, and Willie Riddick of Sunbury; a daughter, Pamela Sutton of New York; two brothers, Percy Sutton and James Sutton, both of Sunbury; two sisters, Fannie Boyce of Sunbury and Mary Twine of Norfolk, Va.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 at Hertford County Undertakers Gates Chapel, Sunbury, with the Rev. Jimmy Boone officiating. Burial will take place in the Boone Family Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at the Hertford County Undertakers Gates Chapel, Sunbury.
