Earlene Grant, 75, of Como died Friday, November 20, 2009 at her residence.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include three sons, William L. Grant, James A. Grant and Edward Grant Jr., all of Como; two daughters, Doris Ridley of Como and Joyce Lewis of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Billy Smith of Como and Moses Vaughan of Murfreesboro; a sister, Martha Moss of Portsmouth, Va.; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Como, with the Rev. Elliot Hill officiating. Burial will take place in the Fleetwood Family Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
