Rosa Lee Riddick, 72, of Ahoskie died November 17, 2009 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She was retired from Hunter’s Funeral Home, Inc. as an Insurance Agent and Assistant Funeral Director.
Survivors include her husband, John Riddick of the home; four sons, Barron Riddick, of Ahoskie, Darryl Riddick of Greensboro, Dale Riddick of Ahoskie and Dawana Riddick of Halifax; two brothers, Benjamin Hoggard of Ahoskie and Samuel Hoggard of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mildred Harrell of Ahoskie; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Lorenzo Lynch officiating. Burial will take place in the Harrell Family Cemetery.
