William Richard Harrell 72, a resident of Courtland Health Center and formerly of Ridgecrest Lane, Jackson, died Friday November 13, 2009.
A native of Bertie County, he was a retired paper carrier for the Tidewater News in Franklin, Va.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy H. Lewis of Franklin, VA and Norma Jean Haney of Windsor; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20 at Edgewood Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
