John Abb Bundy, Sr., 62, of Knight Lane, Corapeake, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, Va.
A native of Gates County, he was a retired heavy equipment operator with E.V. Williams Co. in Portsmouth, Va. and a member of Eureka Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara B. Rountree of Corapeake and Mary B. Carter of Suffolk, Va.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mickey Willard officiating. The family received friends Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville.
