James Holley, 73, died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Bertie Memorial Hospital in Windsor.
He was employed by White Brother’s Trucking Company.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Holley of the home; five daughters, Pastor Carolyn Pugh of Hamilton, Diane Mullins of Cromwell, Conn. and Linda Perry, Catherine Perry and Annie Perry, all of Middletown, Conn.; two sisters, Inez Williams and Maggie Bazemore, both of North Carolina; two brothers, James Earnest Holley of Virginia and Gilbert Andrew Holley of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church in Colerain with Bishop Thomas E. Lee officiating. Burial will take place in the cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, is handling the arrangements.
