Lillian Jones, 76, of Ahoskie died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, William D. Jones Sr. of Ahoskie; a son, William Jones Jr. of Como; a daughter, Shirley Bowser of Ahoskie; four brothers, George W. Powell and Collin Powell, both of Wingsdale, NY, Walter Powell of Aulander and James Powell of Washington, DC; a sister, Doris Parker of Portsmouth, VA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Greater Harvest Baptist Church, Aulander, with Bishop Leroy J. Woolard officiating. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
