Mrs. Vivian Cone Vaughan, age 72, of Jackson, NC died Monday, October 26, 2009 at Pine Forest Rest Home in Potecasi.
Mrs. Vaughan was born July 24, 1937 in Franklin County, NC. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Vaughan and a son, Cecil Vaughan Jr. who passed away March 3, 2008.
Mrs. Vaughan is survived by a son, Ronald Vaughan of Jackson, NC; three sisters, Edith Lassiter of Rich Square, Carol Vaughan of Windsor, NC and Pansy Sonja of Louisburg, NC; and a brother, Jimmy Cone of Pilot, NC.
Cecil Jr. is survived by his son, Justin Andrew Vaughan and a brother, Ronald Vaughan of Jackson.
A joint funeral service will be held for Mrs. Vaughan and her son Cecil Jr. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Ed Drew officiating. Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, Wednesday from 7-8:30 p.m.
