Ada Briscoe Turner, 96, of Carters Road, Gatesville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in Down East Health & Rehab.
A native of Gates County, she was a homemaker and a member of Eure Christian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Alice Turner Lacey of Eure; a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
A funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 in the Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Gatesville, with the Rev. Michael Brinkley officiating. Burial will follow in the Gatesville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity or church of one’s choice.
