Philomena H. Battle, 82, of Norfolk, Va. died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Harbour Pointe Medical Center, Norfolk, Va.
A native of Hertford County, she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include a son, William Battle, Jr. of Norfolk, VA; four sisters, Madessia H. Cruz and Theress H. Archer, both of Ahoskie, Dorothy H. Flood of Cofield and Ardieth Herring of Ahoskie; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Ahoskie. Burial will take place in Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
