George Dewitt Ramsey of Philadelphia, PA died Friday, October 2, 2009.
He was a native of Ahoskie.
Survivors include a wife, Ilean Ramsey of Dothan, AL; two daughters, Darlyne Williams of Dothan, AL and Phyllis Medley of Dothan, AL; one son, Dewitt Ramsey of Camp Springs, MD; his mother, Annie Beverly Perry of Ahoskie; a sister, Rita Weaver of Yorktown, VA; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 by the Rev. C. David Stackhouse at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie.
