Mary Belle Cannady Daniels, 86, of Britthaven of Wilson and a charter resident of Parkwood Village died Monday, October 5, 2009.
She was a member of Forest Hills Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Daniels was former co-owner of Countryside Furniture in Lucama.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Rountree of Gatesville and Anna Anderson of Scotland Neck; a son, Bert Daniels of Wilson; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8 in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Ray Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends 12 noon–1:30 p.m. the same day at Forest Hills Baptist Church and at other times at 4631 Dewfield Drive.
