Mildred Harrell White, 86, of Hayes, Va. died Friday, September 25, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Bertie County, she worked for Mylecraft while living in Roxobel. She relocated to Suffolk, Va. where she resided until her failing health required her to move to Hayes to live with her daughter.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Sue Edmonds of Hayes, Va.; two sons, Arthur Richard Conner of Pungo, Va. and Elton W. Conner of Autlus, Okla.; two sisters, Margaret Davis of Zebulon and Leila Marie Edmonds of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck with the Rev. Elton W. Conner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Sykes Funeral Service in Scotland Neck.
