Mrs. Annie Ruth King Wommack, 83, of Millennium died Friday, September 25, 2009 at her home.
Mrs. Wommack was born January 27, 1926 in Danville, VA, the daughter of the late Arthur Lafayette King and Annie Elizabeth Richardson King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Wommack.
She was loved by all her family and will be missed greatly.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann W. Lassiter of Millennium and Peggy Gatling and her husband, Harold, of Murfreesboro; her sons, Joe Wommack and his wife, JoAnn, and Sammy Wommack, all of Ahoskie, Jerry Wommack and his wife, Susan, of Maryland and Charles Wommack of Winton; her brother, Jimmy King of Danville, VA; 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Taylor Latham officiating. Burial will follow at Ahoskie Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 26 at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander and other times at the home.
