Ernest Ledrew Perry, 84, of Ledrew Perry Road in Merry Hill died Monday, August 31, 2009 at Albemarle Hospital.
A Bertie County native, he was a Perdue farmer and member of Capeharts Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine P. Bundy of Windsor; a son, Clarence Hartwell Perry of Merry Hill; two sisters, Margaret Smithwick of St. Johns and Christine Ward of Plymouth; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Capeharts Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Lee officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and at other times at the home.
