Annie Taylor Bass, 87, of Seaboard died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids.
She was a member of Seaboard United Methodist Church where she had served as organist and pianist for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Lee Bass; children, David Bass of Franklin, VA, Gary Bass of Chester, VA, Robert Bass of Herndon, VA and Jennifer Bass Bolton of Wilmington; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Seaboard United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carol Taylor and the Rev. Steve Trussell officiating. Burial will follow at Seaboard Cemetery.
Massey Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, is handling the arrangements.
