Clementine Bell Carter, 89, of Windsor died Sunday, August 2, 2009.
A native of Bertie County, she lived in Pennsylvania for 56 years before returning to the area. She was a member of Pleasant Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Windsor.
Survivors include a sister, Elsie Marie Daniels of Windsor and a foster sister, Mary C. Joyner.
A funeral was held on Saturday, August 8 at Pleasant Oak Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Linward James and the Rev. John Flowers Jr. officiating. Burial took place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Windsor.
Cherry Funeral Home, Windsor, handled the arrangements.
