Vennessee Raynor
AHOSKIE—Vennessee Raynor, 85, of Ahoskie died on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Guardian Care Nursing Home.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Greater Wynn’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she was a
Deaconess. She was formally employed at Blue Bell Sewing Company as a custodian.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Timothy Raynor and Willie M. Mitchell, both of Brooklyn, NY; four daughters, Kathleen Toure’ and Lillian White, both of Ahoskie, Gwendolyn
Raynor and Karen Hicks, both of Bronx, NY; 15 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 8,
2009 at Greater Wynn’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Thomas Lee. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
