Glenn Cowper, 59, of Murfreesboro died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Guardian Care Nursing Home.
He attended Kittrell Business College and served in the US Army. He was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Como.
He leaves to cherish his memories a son, Glenn M. Cowper of Ahoskie; a daughter, McKenzia Cowper of Winton; one brother, Carlton Branch of Sterling, VA; two sisters, Margaret Marshall and Geraldine Stanback, both of Murfreesboro; and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 at First Baptist Church Murfreesboro with the Rev. Robert Richardson officiating.
Burial will take place in Carver Park Cemetery.
