Carrie Hill Padrick, 82, of Gates died Monday, July 13, 2009 in Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA.
A native of Lenoir County, she was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Carroll Y. “Pat” Padrick, Jr. of Gates; one daughter, Karen Padrick Hofler of Gates; and one sister, Sadie Marie Gregory of Austin, TX.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home in Gatesville officiated by Greg Casper. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake, VA.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
