Mary Kathleen Ward, 83, of Virginia Road, Edenton, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Britthaven of Edenton.
A native of Chowan County, she was a retired teacher from the Gates County School System and a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Robert White.
