Violet Bond Bazemore, 87, of US 13/17 South, Windsor, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Bayside HealthCare Center, Virginia Beach, VA.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ, Williamston.
Survivors include her sons, William A. Bazemore of Windsor and Ray E. Bazemore of Virginia Beach, VA; daughters, Shirley McCaster and Mildred Shepherd, both of Bronx, NY, Gladys Bond of Irving, NJ and Viola Caple, Dyra Smith and Loretta Bazemore, all of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Mildred Bond of Bronx, NY; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 19 at Back Swamp Church of Christ with the Rev. Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
