Janet R. Taylor, 57, of Gates died Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Obici Sentera Hospital, Suffolk, Va.
She was a native of Gates County.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert Taylor; a daughter, Katrisha T. Little of Farmville; two brothers, Carlton Townes and Arthur Townes, both of New Jersey; two sisters, Mary Ann Harden and Carla Townes, both of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
Visitation for the family will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, June 19 at the Sunbury Chapel of Hertford County Undertakers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20 at St. John AME Zion Church, Sunbury, with the Rev. Samuel Buck Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, are handling the arrangements.
