Solona Leary Perry, 71, of Perrytown Road, Colerain died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at her residence.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Colerain.
Survivors include her children, Teressa Holley of Jersey City, NJ, Sharon Bell of Paterson, NJ, Maxine Perry of Colerain, Brenda Perry of Windsor, Shelia Perry of Colerain, Latasha Holley of Middletown, CT, Dineice Perry of the home, and Wardell Leary of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers, Clyde Leary Jr. of Paterson, NJ and James Leary of Aulander; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 18 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
