Eldred Smith Knight, 87, of Burke Road, Hobbsville died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Down East HealthCare Center, Gatesville.
A native of Roper, she was a member of Blanchard’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sunbury.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Stallings of Hobbsville; and a sister, George Bernice Knight of Portsmouth, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 at Blanchard’s Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Burke Family Cemetery, Hobbsville.
