Carolyn Cofield of Ahoskie died Monday, June 15, 2009 at her residence.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Cofield of Ahoskie; a daughter, Angela Holley of Ahoskie; four brothers, Joseph Harris of Boston, MA, Alvin Harris of Rhode Island, Thomas Harris of Herndon, VA and William Harris of Murfreesboro; five sisters, Ruby Spencer of Asheboro, Ruth Cofield of Como, Evelyn Lowe and Marjorie Harris, both of Boston, MA and Brenda Mitchell of Aulander; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, June 19 at Oxley Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Merry Hill, with the Rev. Vonner Horton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
