Ruth Perry Minor, 85, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Coventry House of Siler City.
She was a Chatham County native.
Ruth was a retired homemaker, a devoted wife and mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aycock and Annie Perry; her sister, Marlene Davis; and her husband, Kirk Minor.
Ruth is survived by one sister, Joyce Clark of Greensboro; brother, Clyde Reid Perry of Silk Hope; daughter, Missy Cherry of Ahoskie; and one son, Jody Minor of Siler City. She leaves behind two granddaughters, Hannah Cherry in Ahoskie and Amanda Phillips living in Bear Creek; and one great-granddaughter, Sheridan Phillips.
A private burial will be held in Ahoskie.
