Anner Rogers Ward, 92, of Rich Square died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Rich Square Health Care Center, Rich Square.
A native of Northampton County, she was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Rich Square.
Survivors include her daughters, Doris Majette of Garysburg, Mae Lois of the home, Carol Broadnax of Seaboard and Patricia Branch; a son, Walter Ward Jr. of Garysburg, VA; sisters, Lucille Riley and Genora Hall, both of Roanoke Rapids; brothers, Leroy Edmond of Philadelphia, PA and Robert Edmond of Woodland; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, June 11 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Myrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
