AHOSKIE — Details of a Sunday morning accident remain unavailable, but a few facts have surfaced.

According to North Carolina Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike Warren, a driver operating a vehicle on NC 42 west of Ahoskie at around 8 a.m. on Sunday allegedly lost control and crashed into several vehicles parked at the Charles H. Jenkins auto dealership.

Warren said as many as five vehicles may have suffered damage.

“There was extensive property damage to the vehicles parked on the Charles H. Jenkins lot,” Warren said.
