Joyce Hughes Witt, 89, of Lasker died Monday, June 8, 2009 at Hampton Woods in Jackson.
She was a native of Northampton County and a lifetime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a step-son, E. Carl Witt of Jackson; four sisters, Doris Hughes Cones of Suffolk, VA, Janie Hughes True of Arlington, VA, Janet Hughes Lewis of Wheat Ridge, CO, and Gertrude Hughes Outland of Rich Square.
The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson on Wednesday, June 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 11 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund.
