Charles Speller

Charles Eugene “Bunk” Speller, 77, of Windsor died June 7, 2009.
He served in the United States Army, achieving the Army’s highest enlisted rank of Command Sergeant Major.
Survivors include, his wife, Catherine White Speller of Windsor; two sons; Charles Bradley Speller of Raleigh and Joel Douglas Speller of Sea Grove, FL; one daughter, Sharon Speller of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, James Louis “Bogie” of Windsor; three sisters, Lena Harry of Moore Haven, FL, Earle Lee of Windsor, Roberta Wagner of Chesapeake, VA and Elsie Mobley of Williamston; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9 from 7-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 at Siloam Baptist Church. Reverend JN Baggett and Reverend Jim Cox will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery with military rites.
