Agnes Bernice Britt, 78, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Guardian Care Nursing Home.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include two sons, James Davis of Virginia and George McClinsy of Connecticut; four sisters, Jackie Britt and Cora Williams, both of Elizabeth, NJ, Sandra Jordan of Camden, Del. and Lillie Wilson of Powellsville; and a host of grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 7 by the Rev. Lebron Britt at Hunter’s Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
