Calvin Gatling, 55, of Deloatch Mill Road, Pendleton, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his residence.
A native of Northampton County, he was a member of Macedonia AME Church, Conway. He was self-employed as a construction worker.
Survivors include his mother, Ella Mae Taylor Gatling of Pendleton; and sisters, Pamela Faison of Pendleton, Gwendolyn Mason of Newport News, VA and Phyllis Branch of Pendleton.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 7 at Macedonia AME Church with the Rev. Pamela Faison officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove AME Church Cemetery, Como.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, is in charge of the arrangements.
