Troy Jarvis Ansley, 85, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids.
He was a native of Northampton County.
Survivors include his children, Linda Gilliam and Carlton Ansley, both of Roanoke Rapids, Jennifer Moseley of Loganville, GA and Ronnie Ansley of Rolesville; a brother, William Ansley of Texas; a sister, Gertrude McCabe of Maxton; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 at Massey Funeral Home Chapel, Roanoke Rapids, with the Rev. Wayne Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
