Frances Jeanette Glover Davis, 80, died Thursday, May 21, 2009 at LifeCare Hospital in Rocky Mount.
A native of Woodland, she began her career as a telephone operator with Bell Telephone. After marriage she lived in Rich Square before moving to Conway where she became a homemaker.
She was a member of Conway United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jewell Davis of Conway and Vickie Barrow of Edenton; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 24 in Conway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carol Taylor officiating. Burial followed in the Creeksville Baptist Church Cemetery.
