Robert Beacher of Colerain died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Guardian Care Nursing Home, Ahoskie.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley W. Beacher of Colerain; four sons, Leon Beacher of Ahoskie, Cedric Beacher of Colerain, Gary Beacher of White Plains, NY and Robert Beacher Jr. of Windsor; four daughters, Joyce Williams of Colerain, Teresa Beacher-Walker of Philadelphia, PA, Rosalie Teele of Snailsville, GA and Marion Leary of Windsor; three sisters, Rosa Green of Cofield, Fannie Jones of Standford, CT and Lois Keling of Colerain; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday May 23 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Colerain, with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson officiating. The burial will be in the church cemetery.
There will be a wake from 6-7 pm on Friday, May 22 at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie.
