Beatrice B. Darden, 73, of Como died Friday, May 15, 2009 at Down East Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gatesville.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Survivors include three sons, Otis Darden of Meridian, ID, Herbert Darden Jr. of Franklin, VA and Robert Darden of Kinston; one daughter, Alice Darden of Como; one brother, John Bell of Philadelphia, PA; one sister, Rennie Dennis of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19 at Mill Neck Baptist Church in Como with Rev. Timothy Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
