Joseph “Styron” S. Capehart, 30, of Ahoskie died Sunday, May, 3, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A native Bertie County, he worked as a mentor at Uprising Homes Inc. and was a trustee and SWAT member of Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church in Colerain.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Mizelle Capehart of Ahoskie; his parents; Joseph M. Capehart and Janice Elaine Capehart of Colerain; one daughter, Jbria Smith of Scotland Neck; two sons, Tracy Moore and Cameron Cross both of Ahoskie; and one sister, Keesha Owens of Ahoskie.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church with Bishop Thomas E. Lee officiating.
Burial will follow at Greater Wynns Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Colerain.
