Bertha Tyler Taylor, 60, of Ahoskie died on Friday, May 1, 2009 at her home.
A native of Bertie County, she worked as a supervisor at Perdue, Inc. and was a member of Piney Woods Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Bertha Ruth Tyler of Lewiston; one son, Glenwood Taylor Jr. of Ahoskie; three daughters, Valorie Cherry of Roxobel, Orleen Taylor of Portsmouth, VA and Alisha Taylor of Ahoskie; two brothers, Pinnmon Tyler Jr. of Lewiston and Terry Tyler of Lewiston; two sisters, Essie Tyler of Ahoskie and Patricia Eaton of Murfreesboro; and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 at Piney Woods Chapel Baptist Church in Ahoskie with Bishop Joseph C. Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at the Taylor Family Cemetery in Ahoskie.
